Public Safety & Government Vehicle Upfits

Emergency lighting, prisoner transport, mobile offices and command vehicles for police, sheriff, fire, cities, counties and state agencies, built in house in Broomfield, Colorado.

We install, wire and program Whelen and Federal Signal lights and sirens on vans, SUVs, sedans, trucks and trailers, along with prisoner transport, consoles and in-vehicle tech. For cities, counties, special districts and state departments we build mobile offices, command vehicles and public works upfits. We respond to public bids and quote requests, and we're happy to build to your written spec.

Emergency Lighting & Sirens

We install Whelen and Federal Signal lighting, sirens and controls, and set them up to run the way your agency works.

Lightbars & Interior Lightbars

Whelen Inner Edge interior lightbars for the Ford Transit, Federal Signal XStream and SpectraLux low profile lights, and rear Traffic Advisor bars to move traffic around a stopped vehicle.

Grille, Perimeter & Warning Lights

Whelen Ion and V-Series and Federal Signal MicroPulse Ultra lights in the grille, on the doors and around the body, in red, blue, amber and white combinations.

Sirens, Speakers & Controllers

Siren amplifiers with PA and handheld controllers, 100 watt siren speakers, and Whelen Core and WeCanX control systems that run every light and siren from one place.

Pre-Programmed or Custom Programming

Use the manufacturer's pre-programmed flash patterns, or we'll custom program the patterns, colors, sequences and controller buttons to match your agency's standard.

Unmarked & Undercover Vehicles

Compact undercover sirens, windshield and dash lights, and smoked lenses that stay hidden until they're on. Pair them with window tint that helps hide interior lights.

Clean Wiring & Testing

Wiring is fused, loomed and labeled, and every flash pattern and siren tone is function tested before the vehicle goes back on duty.

Beyond lights and sirens

Most agency vehicles are a work truck, an office and sometimes a command post all at once. We lay out the build with you first, around the job the crew actually does, then install, wire and test it.

Prisoner Transport

Multi-compartment slide-in inserts for the Ford Transit, 15-passenger Havis transport builds, and partition conversions for the Ford Escape and Explorer. We duct the rear HVAC into every compartment, add exhaust ventilation, and seal the driver's area off with a solid bulkhead and trim kit.

Consoles, Laptop Mounts & In-Vehicle Tech

Havis consoles built out for your vehicle with the siren controller and PA mic in easy reach, laptop mounts and docks, radios and antennas, Cradlepoint routers, and camera systems with a monitor up front.

Equipment Removal & Decommissioning

Before a vehicle goes to auction or back into a civilian fleet, we pull the lights, siren, controller and computer mounts, terminate the wiring and tuck what's left out of sight.

Mobile Offices & Field Workstations

A partition with a sliding door, an L-shaped desk, insulation and paneling, office heat and air, overhead lighting, a power cabinet, and 360 degree cameras. A real place to work, wherever the job is.

Mobile Command Centers & Trailers

Full builds with walls, floor, electrical, HVAC, network and Cradlepoint routers, cameras, graphics and a safety package, on vans or trailers. We also rework and rewire existing command vehicles when the mission changes. See our bomb squad trailer build.

Public Works & Utility Vehicles

Shelving, partitions, ladder racks, flooring, heaters and power for parks, water, streets and facilities crews. See commercial and fleet upfits.

Questions we get a lot

Do you respond to formal bids?

Yes. Send us the solicitation and the due date. We'll read it closely, get our questions in during the question period, and let you know whether it's a fit. We can quote one vehicle or several built to the same spec.

Can you match a spec we already use?

Yes. If you have a vehicle that works, we can build the next ones to match it, or improve on it where you'd like.

Which lighting brands do you install?

Mostly Whelen and Federal Signal. If your agency has a standard, tell us the part numbers and we'll match it.

Can you program the lights to our agency's patterns?

Yes. We can run the factory pre-programmed patterns or custom program them. Send us your pattern and button layout, or a vehicle that's already set up the way you like.

Can you add lights to a vehicle we already have in service?

Yes. Send us the year, make and model and what it needs to do, and we'll tell you what fits.

Can you work with our dealer or our purchasing contract?

Yes. We work with dealers regularly and can coordinate with yours so the vehicle comes to us before it goes to you.

Can you move or rework equipment that's already installed?

Yes. We relocate lights, controls, routers and power systems and rewire them when an agency changes how a vehicle gets used.
